This poll was published in the Weekend Dominion Post on Saturday 3 September, under the headline "National leads by 3 points." The results are presented below with the results of the same poll from August and July in brackets.
Lab - 41 (42, 37)
Nat - 44 (41, 42)
NZF - 4 (6, 8)
Grn - 5 (6, 6)
ACT - 1 (1, 2)
UF - 2 (2, 2)
MP - 1 (1, 2)
For Preferred PM, the results are:
Clark - 41 (44, 39)
Brash - 34 (29, 29)
Once again there was an interesting regional breakdown. National have opened up a very large gap in Auckland, which is intriguing, while Labour is ahead in Wellington and Christchurch. Gender and age splits still as you'd expect.
This is about where I'd perceive Labour as sitting at the moment. The Colmar Brunton poll out tonight seems a little high, but both polls show Labour losing if the numbers carry through to 17 September.
WTF happened while I was keeping track of Katrina?
