As I only have a couple of weeks left in Europe, I have been doing a fair whack of travelling. Last weekend was Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and this weekend is Barcelona. The latter should be quite amazing, and the former was a good visit. In particular a night out with Czech friends led to some good conversations and good beer at extremely (€0.90/0.5L) good prices. The city is very beautiful, though I would like to come back in the summertime.
Barcelona - after the weekend I can post on that. Staying in the centre and looking out for any tips people might have of where to visit.
I hope you kept your socialist opinions to yourself while enjoying the excellent beer and scenery in Prague. The Cz Rep is enjoying some of the highest growth of the ex-communist states and it isn't by applying the types of politics that you like back in NZ.
That aside, I am glad you enjoyed it there. It is my second home and is lovely in the summertime.
