Spotted this on the New Zealand Herald website. Interesting choice of advertising. This beating could well have gone unpunished if the old section 59 of the Crimes Act still stood. It could have been interpreted by the judge as 'reasonable force' and/or part of 'good parental correction'. I love the logo for this march. Jack boot prints. They seem to me both appropriate and ironic at the same time. That's all I have to say on the subject that is appropriate for civilised company.
